Knowing she wanted to be a writer and artist a young age, E. S. Furlán took the scenic route in life, travelling and delving into every facet of society she could.
Her work often reflects this and doesn't shy away from the more unpleasant aspects of existence. Faith, witchcraft, ostracisation, and life paths deviating from the norm are common themes. E. S. Furlán strives to include a wide and diverse range of characters in her novels.
She now lives in Denmark with her wild-child, bog-creature daughter and a surprisingly normal housemate.
